These photos show the Zeppelin NT prototype during its first overland flight. This flight took the Zeppelin to Stuttgart on the weekend of August 8th & 9th, 1998 to commemorate the destruction of a Zeppelin during a thunderstorm in Echterdingen 90 years ago on August 4th, 1908.
This was the first occassion when the Zeppelin NT was moored outside of Friedrichshafen for a night.
