When the airship is moved with the mast truck the tail is lifted into the air by the tail engine or even with support of the two main engines. The tail engine can also be used to turn around the Zeppelin until it is aligned with the hangar. Only short of the hangar the tail will be lowered back to the ground. There it will be attached to a car which will guide it the final meters into the hangar. The following photo series nicely illustrates this procedure:
